The Grand Canyon and Arches National Park

I am not at all certain that some of my favorite pictures from Wednesday do justice to these two National Parks.  I tried.

They are just so beautiful in their own way.

So nice to be able to drive from one Park to the other and see both on the same day, just to see the contrast.

The pictures of the Grand Canyon were taken earlier in the morning which appear different from those pictures I took later the previous evening.  The light has an amazing affect on the structures.

Such natural beauty.  Everyone should take the time to see just how beautiful this country is.

About Me

Teacher + Amateur Photographer = opportunities for wonderful photos. I enjoy attending the sporting events of my students, and capturing the highlights on camera. As a science teacher, I also enjoy nature photography - not only as an art form, but as a way to enhance my students education by bringing photography into the classroom. I have recently been asked to photograph portraits and weddings, and am finding a real enjoyment in capturing invaluable memories for others to enjoy.
